BBC Radio 1 has over 300,000 followers on Google+, 2,031,922 likes on Facebook and over 2,1 million followers on Twitter as well. They average over 11 million listeners a week which is 1.6 million everyday depite this they have lost over 300,000 listeners in the past three months of being on the air. This may have happened due to the competition of BBC Radio 2 which has over 12.5 million listeners per week which is why BBC Radio 2 is declining.

An average BBC Radio 1 listener is 32 years old even with recent attempts to spice up the action at BBC Radio 1 it's had the opposite effect on their rating with the recent decline of 300,000 in listeners, and only 45.5% of the listeners of BBC Radio 1 are below the age of 25 years old.
3) How does Plan B promote Ill Manors in this interview?
45.5 percent of people that listen to BBC Radio 1 are below the age of 25 so they might be interested in whatever Plan B is trying to advertise. He mentions the film and tells everyone the release date however he doesn't try to oversell the movie to the audience because if you try to sell someone a product to hard sometimes they will loss interest in the product because of it and also people would be watching the film because Plan B is directing so by doing this people that are interested in Plan B will be interested in the movie.
